Introduction to me
I have always been around theatre since I was young, my brother was always in shows, and my mother was a director. When I knew I wanted to start performing was when I was around three years old. I was following my older brother when it was after one of his shows and everyone was congratulating him and saying he did a fantastic job with great big smiles on their faces. For some reason that made me want to start performing, from just seeing how you could bring smiles and joy to people by doing what you love to do. I’ve been doing musical theatre since I was four and I started to take dance classes when I was six. From then I would perform in my studios Nutcracker performances. I have also taught at many summer camps as a dance teacher and been a choreographer for two shows.
I mostly did musical theatre when I was younger but I did my first straight play my freshman year of high school with my schools after school theatre program. I have been a part of every show after that taking a break from musical theatre. I have also opened up to trying out and taking male roles in plays and trying new theatre communities. I tend to work well with every cast I have had the opportunity to be a part of. I tend to help my cast mates and tech crew wherever I can, hoping to make every show process as easy as it can be for everyone.

Goals
My goals for this class is not to be too scared of going up in front of the class and to work harder on improv. Also to learn more about where theatre came from and different types and all of the different jobs that go into making a show.
